Getting Out & About with Club Hub UK

Do you ever get that feeling when you’re just sick of being indoors, looking at the same 4 walls all the time? Your baby/child is cranky, you’re cranky, you’re sick of the lounge being an absolute mess of toys; since child decided to perform some crazy mass destruction in it. Well, that’s where Club Hub UK can help.

Club Hub UK is a website/app created to help mummies, daddies & caregivers find new groups and classes in their area to take their children to. Since Bear was born & my stitches had all healed etc. I really aimed to try and get out to as many baby groups/classes in my area as possible. Club Hub UK takes away some of the stress & time of googling, trawling the internet and ringing different children’s centres for relevant group info. God only knows how much time I spent trying to find groups and classes we could attend and putting our names down for other groups with really long waiting lists (One we still haven’t been contacted about after putting his name down at 6 months old).

It is available as a website and an app which honestly, makes life so so much easier! It means that I can use the app whilst out and about already or even when I haven’t got time to open up the laptop (having an 11 month old who crawls at the speed of lightening and is throwing his toys all around the room does not make it easy, or even possible to use the computer!) It’s also free to download, so no need to worry about paying for the service one bit. I took a few screenshots of when I had a little look around for some groups/classes to attend and also to show you how simple & easy it is!

So when you open up the app, you simply click that you’re seeking a club and input your info. The app then runs through their database of groups and clubs that are registered to find you all of the info of the local clubs available. It gives you the type of club it is (signing, pre-school class, arts and crafts etc.) along with the price of each class & when in the day they will be held. Honestly, I found SO many new groups through this app.

Each group you find, you can click on for more info. The info is a basic description of the group & will tell you all about what the group entails. It will then give you contact details or a link to gain further information if you are interested. I have found a couple of new ones I’d like to find out about (I’m currently looking them up as I write this!) Tumble Tots and Rhythm Time look fantastic for our likes, age and development. And it really is that simple!

Now I will be honest, I am not a lover of advertisements on apps at all, however, it wouldn’t be a free app if it didn’t have them.

Do you know of any groups/classes/clubs for children that need to be added to the database? Refer them to Club Hub UK on twitter, Instagram, Facebook or even via their website.

That’s a great idea – I wish it had been available when my children were younger. We moved to a new area and it took me ages to settle in.

Really useful looking app. Thanks for sharing. I think being at home with young kids is so isolating and lonely at times, we need to get out and meet other mums, this is a great idea for finding out about what is going on around me.

Excellent idea for an app. I had a file of newsletter clippings, scribbled notes from notice boards, email alerts etc…it was a mess. This is a much better way of doing things!

Club Hub UK is a great idea – my two are possibly too old for this now, but I think lots of parents and kids can benefit from this.

Oh what a good app! I definitely could have done with this at the beginning – saves all the hassle of finding out stuff on your own but I might have a look to see if there are any fun classes I’ve missed. Brill. Thanks for sharing.

I love the idea of this website I wish I had known about it when I was off because I am sure this is something which I would have used as I never went to many classes.

Anything that makes finding activities easier sounds great! I love doing things but it’s so hard pulling together all the details, especially as half the time clubs aren’t on the internet! Thanks for sharing
