It’s no lie that reading is a huge thing in our house. I’ve been reading since early primary school; I was always way ahead of my age so I ended up having to read newspapers for my reading homework. My mum and nan always encouraged me to read and shared their love of reading, so it’s only right that I’m gonna pass that on to my little one(s). Bear already has a 3 shelf bookcase absolutely full of books. Kid has more books than me & he’s not even 1 yet…what happened there?! View Post
Oh wow! A whole year has come around so blimmin’ fast. Even in the newborn days, and thinking that one day, my little bear is going to have his 1st birthday, imagining what we’re going to do to celebrate, I never actually imagined how emotionally overwhelming it would all feel. To think that I have an almost 1 year old child is crazy, yet wonderful. Thinking of all of the things we have done, achieved, and goals we’ve reached in a whole year makes me feel so so proud of us. Our little family, my whole world. View Post
As the weather has been getting colder and more harsh on skin (British weather eh?) whether it be my own or my baby’s, I had to take action fast on protecting it and keeping it well cared for. I had asked a couple of friends for recommendations and my fellow blogger friend Emily recommended me for the opportunity to try out WaterWipes.
Bear has been getting a lot of nappy rash lately and I’ve been working so hard to try and tackle it with different creams, changing nappy regularly and making sure he has baths and washes regularly. After a while, nothing was helping it anymore. When I was sent the WaterWipes, I got straight to trying them out. View Post
Like most people I know, I’m a sucker for anything personalised. Whether that be personalised pictures, books or clothes, I’m all over it. There is just something about personalised items that make them that bit more special. I have ordered a couple of personalised books and a poster for Logan’s first birthday & have been looking to get a lovely dressing gown with his name on. He already has a gorgeous towel from My First Years that he received as a gift from birth, a taggie blanket from The Cuddle Company that was, again, a gift from birth, and to add to the list, we have a pram charm that we bought from our local market that has his name on a ribbon, 2 colours chosen by myself and a little dummy. This has now had to be removed as he can reach it and he likes it dangling (little monkey). View Post
